Rules and resolution
A live camera of the Shinjuku intersection in Tokyo is analyzed in real time by computer vision (YOLO + ByteTrack) on a dedicated GPU: each vehicle (car, motorcycle, bus, or truck) that crosses one of the virtual lines drawn on the video is counted only once. You predict whether more than N cars will pass during the 5 minutes of the round.
How the round works:
- Predictions (2 min): threshold N is announced and the market remains open for trading.
- Counting (5 min): the market closes and the count starts from zero. Only cars that cross the lines within those 5 minutes count.
- When the timer reaches zero, the round is resolved immediately and a new round begins.
How threshold N is defined:
- A model learns, minute by minute, every day of the week, how many cars usually pass at that Tokyo time, and combines this with traffic from the last minutes of the camera itself.
- The model recalibrates every round so that "Yes" and "No" are as close as possible to 50% / 50%.
Resolution Criteria:
- Yes wins if the final count is greater than N. No wins if it is N or less.
- Resolution 100% automated by the video count.
Refunds (full refund): The round is voided and the entire amount invested automatically returns to the balance, with no fee, in the following cases:
- Camera offline for more than 60 seconds during the count, or the counter is restarted in the middle of the round.
- Server restart with the round in progress.
Example: N = 62, you invested R$ 50 in "Yes" and 68 cars passed in the 5 minutes: "Yes" wins and you receive R$ 1.00 per share. If the camera went down for 2 minutes during the count, the R$ 50 would be returned in full to your balance.
