Buzeira: influencer who gave Neymar a R$ 2 million necklace leaves prison after TRF-3 decision

Justice grants freedom to influencer targeted in Operation Narco Bet

The Fifth Panel of the Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region (TRF-3) decided this Monday, the 17th, to grant freedom to digital influencer Bruno Alexssander Souza Silva, better known online as Buzeira. He had been detained since October 2025, when he became one of the targets of Operation Narco Bet, which investigates alleged money laundering crimes originating from drug trafficking.

The decision represents a turnaround in the case that placed the influencer's name at the center of one of the most talked-about investigations of recent months.

Who is Buzeira

Bruno Alexssander Souza Silva gained national notoriety by gifting player Neymar a gold necklace valued at around R$ 2 million. The gesture, widely publicized on social media, projected the influencer to a much larger audience than he was used to reaching.

From then on, Buzeira began flaunting a luxury routine on digital platforms, associating his image with high-end cars, jewelry and travel — elements that, according to authorities, would have caught investigators' attention.

The accusation

According to the investigations supporting Operation Narco Bet, the influencer is being investigated for alleged involvement in money laundering. The suspicion is that funds from drug trafficking were moved through activities linked to entertainment, betting and digital influence itself.

Buzeira denies the accusations. His defense maintains that the influencer has no connection to the investigated facts.

Arrest and release

The detention occurred in October 2025, within the operation launched by the Federal Police. Since then, Buzeira had remained in preventive detention.

This Monday, the 17th, the appellate judges of the Fifth Panel of TRF-3 understood that there were no longer grounds for maintaining the preventive detention and ordered the influencer's release. The enforcement of the decision and any precautionary measures imposed on him have not yet been publicly detailed.

What changes now

With freedom granted, Buzeira will respond to the proceedings at liberty, while the investigation continues. The case, which had already gained enormous repercussion because of the gold necklace episode, now gains a new chapter.

The expectation is that new developments in Operation Narco Bet will come to public attention in the coming weeks, as the Justice system advances in analyzing the material gathered by the investigation.
