The six confirmed names
Six aspirants to Palácio Tiradentes will face off again on TV Globo this Tuesday (29/9), just five days before the first round. Present are Alexandre Kalil (PDT), Cleitinho Azevedo (Republicanos), Flávio Roscoe (PL), Gabriel Azevedo (MDB), Mateus Simões (PSD) and Patrus Ananias (PT). Selection followed the criterion of parties or federations with at least five seats in Congress.
Transmission and mediation
The program will be hosted by journalist Liliana Junger live from the broadcaster's studios in Belo Horizonte. Viewers can follow it on TV Globo, on the g1 portal nationwide and also on Globoplay.
Dynamics of the four blocks
Candidates will remain side by side throughout the event. The first block will draw themes live, while blocks two and four will have open topics. The third block will focus on regions of the state, also defined by draw.
A live draw indicates who starts each block. The chosen candidate directs the question to another participant and the round continues until everyone has had a chance to ask and answer. The minute-bank model allows each to manage their speaking time.
Limits per block
Except for the regional block, every candidate asks one question and answers another per block. At the end of the fourth block, time remains for final remarks from each.
