Victory in the women's final
The 13th season of MasterChef Brasil ended with Jéssica Cechella as the grand champion. The firefighter from Santa Catarina overcame Carla Araújo in a tight contest broadcast live by Band.
Prizes won
In addition to the trophy, Jéssica received R$ 300 thousand in cash, a gastronomic immersion in Lisbon and a scholarship at Le Cordon Bleu. Carla, who finished second, won a pâtisserie course at the same institution.
100% Brazilian menu
The two finalists presented dishes inspired by national ingredients to the judges Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo and Henrique Fogaça. Jéssica bet on:
- Crab mille-feuille with butiá mayonnaise
- Shrimp sorrentinos in velouté sauce
- Cupuaçu ice cream with jambu flower and black tucupi
Jéssica's trajectory
The champion stood out from the eighth episode with duck in red wine and chocolate. In the Top 5, she impressed with rack of lamb and, in the semifinal, dominated the anglerfish test.
Carla's path to the final
A native of Pernambuco, Carla recorded six individual victories, the highest number of the season. In the semifinal, she prepared a creative version of beef Wellington with crispy pork.
