A new round of polls on the 2026 presidential elections points to a balanced scenario between the current head of the Executive and the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro.
Survey Details
The Nexus/BTG institute interviewed two thousand voters between November 25 and 27. The sampling error is two percentage points, more or less, and the registration with the Electoral Court is BR-07557/2026.
Compared to the previous edition, President Lula (PT) recorded a slight increase of one percentage point.
Main Tested Matchups
- Lula (PT) x Flávio Bolsonaro (PL): 46% to 44%
- Lula (PT) x Ronaldo Caiado (PSD): 46% to 42%
- Lula (PT) x Romeu Zema (Novo): 48% to 39%
- Lula (PT) x Renan Santos (Missão): 48% to 37%
- Lula (PT) x Augusto Cury (Avante): 46% to 41%
In all cases, blank, null and undecided votes range between 8% and 13%.
Result Analysis
Due to the margin of error, only the matchups against Zema, Renan Santos and Cury can be considered favorable to the PT member. The remaining scenarios remain within the statistical tie limit.
The poll reinforces the polarization that still marks the Brazilian electorate less than two years before the election.
