New Rules for Debt Settlement
The federal Executive announced on Tuesday, 29, a package of transactions that includes Desenrola MEI Pequeno Valor and notices aimed at tax and non-tax debts of microentrepreneurs, farmers and former scholarship holders.
The Attorney General's Office (AGU), through the Federal Attorney General's Office and the National Treasury Attorney General's Office, coordinates the measures announced five days before the first round.
Deadlines and General Conditions
- Adhesion window: from October 1 to January 31, 2027
- Discounts limited to 65% of the total amount (70% for priority groups)
- Reductions applied only to interest, fines and charges
- Extension of Desenrola Rural until January 29, 2027
Focus on the Individual Microentrepreneur
The specific notice for MEIs covers debts of up to five minimum wages with agencies such as ANTT, ICMBio, DNIT, Anatel, ANP, Incra and FNDE. The estimate is to reach 10,000 taxpayers with a total liability of R$ 50 million.
Adhesion open between October 16, 2026 and March 31, 2027, with a 50% discount and payment in up to 60 installments.
Benefits for Former Scholarship Holders
Two additional notices reach former CNPq and Capes scholarship holders. The options range from 70% discount in cash to 30% in 84 installments, always on the consolidated amount, without reduction below the principal.
Context and Scope
The initiatives add to the previous extension of small-value notices (up to 60 minimum wages) and reinforce the strategy of recovering credits registered in active debt until March 2026.
