Kylian Mbappé reacted directly to speculations linking his departure from PSG to the club's recent success in the main European club competition.
Player's Stance
The Real Madrid striker emphasized that he cannot control external narratives and showed calmness in the face of opinions.
- "I can't change that. I don't care much. Sometimes it's not analysis, it's something that sells. Talking about me sells a lot," he declared.
Mbappé also highlighted his knowledge of football, stating he knows more than most people who comment on the topic.
Context of the Titles
PSG, which had never won the Champions League, won the last two editions of the tournament by defeating Internazionale and Arsenal in the finals.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian naturalized French became Real Madrid's top scorer in both seasons, but without lifting important trophies.
Mbappé's statement comes amid debates about his influence on the performance of his former club, reinforcing that the focus on his figure serves mainly to attract attention.
