Historic New York Times Vote
The New York Times newspaper published this Friday (25) a ranking with the 100 best series released from 2000 onwards. More than 500 industry professionals, including actors such as Elisabeth Moss, Adam Scott and Bryan Cranston, as well as screenwriters and executives, took part in the selection.
Each voter nominated their ten favorite productions, generating a diverse list that mixes intense dramas, sharp comedies and recent series.
Ranking Highlights
Breaking Bad leads the selection, followed by The Wire and Mad Men. Other heavyweight names include Succession, Fleabag, Game of Thrones and Veep. Newer productions such as Severance, The Pitt and The Bear also earned prominent positions.
Series prior to 2000, such as The Sopranos, were excluded by the newspaper’s rules.
