Change of strategy at PRTB
The Brazilian Labor Renewal Party decided to react quickly to the decision of the Superior Electoral Court that prevented Pablo Marçal's candidacy. Instead of giving up, the party filed the name change on the presidential ticket.
New candidate and vice
The national president of the party, Leonardo Avalanche, appears as the official substitute. The proposal has already received the green light from the rapporteur at the court, although it still needs the approval of the plenary.
With the change, the vice-presidency would go to Silvia Hellen da Silva Pereira, from Anápolis, in Goiás. The registration is already in the TSE's electronic system, but depends on the final approval of the collegiate.
