The latest Quaest poll, released on Tuesday (29/9) and commissioned by Globo, outlines a detailed overview of voting intentions for the Presidency in five states. With a margin of error of two percentage points, the survey highlights significant variations between regions.
Pernambuco: Lula's dominance
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) maintains a wide lead in the northeastern state, reaching 58% of preferences against 20% for Flávio Bolsonaro (PL). The 38 percentage point difference represents growth compared to the previous round, when the PT candidate had 54%.
São Paulo: leadership of the PL candidate
Flávio Bolsonaro leads in the country's largest electoral college, with 36% of intentions, six points ahead of Lula (30%). Other names such as Augusto Cury (Avante), Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) and Renan Santos (Missão) register lower percentages.
Rio de Janeiro: seven-point advantage
In the state of Rio de Janeiro, the former president's son leads with 38%, against 31% for the PT candidate. Both candidates recorded slight increases compared to the September 23 poll.
Minas Gerais: technical tie
Lula totals 35% and Flávio 31%. Due to the margin of error, the two are technically tied, keeping the race balanced in the state.
Distrito Federal: difference within the margin
The survey indicates that the distance between the main candidates in the DF is at the statistical limit, without allowing a definitive conclusion on the local leadership.
