Electoral Scenario in Minas
The race for two seats in the Federal Senate for Minas Gerais in 2026 is more disputed than ever. A survey conducted by Quaest and requested by Globo points to a technical tie between four pre-candidates, with the electorate still quite undecided.
The study heard 1,506 Minas Gerais residents aged 16 and over between September 25 and 28. The margin of error is three percentage points, with a 95% confidence level. The registration with the Electoral Court is MG-02019/2026.
Combined Votes
When adding the mentions for the first and second seats, the numbers are as follows:
- Domingos Sávio (PL): 14%
- Marília Campos (PT): 13%
- Carlos Viana (PSD): 12%
- Aécio Neves (PSDB): 12%
- Marcelo Aro (PP): 6%
The other names appear with lower or zero percentages. Undecided voters total 18% and blank/null votes, 17%.
First and Second Votes
Separating the preferences, Marília leads the first vote with 19%, followed by Aécio (15%) and Viana (14%). In the second vote, Sávio takes the lead with 16%.
About 66% of respondents say the choice is defined, while 33% can still change their minds.
