Rules and resolution
In this market, you predict which party will win control of the United States House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. A victory is defined by obtaining the majority of voting seats; if no majority is achieved, the party of the first Speaker of the House elected for the 120th Congress prevails. The resolution deadline is until 2 de novembro de 2026, 21:00 (horário de Brasília). Each Democratic Party is a separate outcome, with its own "Yes" and "No". Each Republican Party is a separate outcome, with its own "Yes" and "No". Resolution Criteria:
- Resolves to "Yes" for Democratic Party if that party obtains the majority of seats after the 2026 election.
- Resolves to "Yes" for Republican Party if that party obtains the majority of seats after the 2026 election.
- Resolves to "No" for both if the result is different or the election is postponed/canceled.
- Ties or vacant seats are resolved according to the affiliation of the originally elected member.
