Rules and resolution
This market resolves to Yes if the Central Bank of Brazil officially announces a reduction of the Selic to exactly 13.75% at the meeting following the creation date of this market. The Copom is the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Brazil, responsible for setting the basic interest rate. The resolution considers only the official announcement until October 31, 2026, 23:59 (Brasília time).
Resolution Criteria:
- Resolves to Yes if the Copom reduces the Selic to exactly 13.75% per year at the next meeting.
- Resolves to No in any other case, including a reduction to a different value, maintenance, or increase of the rate.
- In case of postponement, cancellation, or absence of an announcement by the deadline, resolves to No.
